While working on my needs statement, I came across this youtube video. It definelty stresses the importance of educating youth in the area of farm safety. The part that makes it even more stunning is the shear probabilty that most of the accidents in the video deal almost primarily with adults (although it is strictly my opinion - not based on facts). And we all know that youth/teenagers working around or with farm equipment are historically much less careful. Kind of scary in my opinion.

Hey Mark - I watched that video you posted of the tractor accident photos ... I had no idea accidents like that were so common! Ive driven a tractor a couple of times without issue, but I guess you cant overestimate the value of some common sense and education ... Sounds like your organization is going to be a great fit, and I cant wait to find out more about your progress!
